  Kevin M. Ainsworth is a New Hampshire Furniture Maker & Chair Maker who works out of his one man shop in southern New Hampshire. The Craftsman is a traditional furniture maker who strives to produce only the highest quality of workmanship possible and to master his craft. The work tends to lean towards more traditional styles of furniture, whether it be Queen Anne, Chippendale or Federal. All of the furniture is constructed using traditional techniques and methods of joinery, such as hand cut dovetails and mortise and tennon joinery. As is all of his furniture, it is first researched, and then drawn full scale before construction even begins.

   All of his Windsor chairs are made using the same materials,  methods, and tools that were used in making the originals.

   All of the furniture is produced with a strong emphasis in handwork and Craftsmanship. Traditional finishes such as Shellac are used, however were appropriate, more modern finishing techniques and finishes are used.
